Everything is Connected…
What Is It?
Cross/Link is a unique functionality* developed by Wayward Thoughts Interactive to allow for the transfer of special items between games on the same platform to unlock hidden goodies!
How Does It Work?
Cross/Link is super easy to use! Once you locate a Cross/Link item in one of our games, you’ll hear a familiar sound: our theme song! Once you find one of the items, it will automatically be saved and magically transferred to the game you can use it in the next time you launch it.
Cross/Link is planned to be included in all future Wayward Thoughts Interactive games!
What Platforms Can I Use it On?
Currently, Cross/Link is compatible with all platforms you can play Wayward Thoughts Interactive games!
- Windows
- Steam
- Cross/Link is also included in Steam Cloud Save!
- itch.io
- Steam
- Linux/Steam Deck

What Can I Unlock?
Mostly cosmetics that reference the source game! Nothing you’d miss in one game if you didn’t play the other. Unlockable Cross/Link goodies also won’t ever affect your 100% completion in the game.

The Stone Key

What does it unlock?
Nothing yet! But hold on to it for later!

The Mysterious Chest

Where is it?
After completing the main game, you’ll unlock the Advanced Testing Courses. As you proceed through them, you’ll notice some strange things going on! At the end of the third course, you’ll find the Mysterious Chest!
What does it unlock?
Launch Super Sketch Bob after collecting the Mysterious Chest and load your save file. At the map screen, Ferdinand will let you know that you’ve unlocked a set of costumes from another world!
Check your Costume Closet under “Cross/Link Costumes” to find a set of special costumes that let Bob and Liz dress as Frip, Froop, and Booster!
If you need further support on Cross/Link, you can find more help at support.waywardthoughts.games.
NOTE:
*If this sounds a lot like “Stop ‘n Swop” from Banjo-Kazooie, that’s because Cross/Link is basically a modernized version of it.
Thanks for the amazing idea, Rare. You were truly ahead of your time. We hope we’ve done you proud.
